London Fashion Week
I got invited to go to a couple of shows with my friend Tal who interned at beach Tomato.
We went to two shows:
Felder Felder which was held at Somerset House
and
Ekaterina Kukhareva at Freemasons Hall
Felder Felder SS13
There were floaty chiffons and silk maxis, with suede jackets. The colours were muted and pretty- midnight blues and soft nude peaches.
A really summery and girly collection, easy to wear!
Im wearing:
Shirt- Topshop £34.99
Jacket- Athe for Vanessa Bruno £260
Leather look skirt- Zara £39.99
Heels- ASOS £54.99
Ekaterina Kukhareva SS13
1960's Geometric prints and bright pastels
She drew her inspiration from the 60's fashion icon Brigitte Bardot and her St. Tropez lifestyle.
Simple shapes and vintage feel of the garments are portraying the ease with which Brigitte could pull off any look be it on the beach or in the city.
The fabrics' patterns are based on basic geometric shapes, such as hexagrams, mosaics and birds' wing scales which originate from ancient Egyption wall paintings.
The mood of the collection is very happy, care free and sexy, like Brigitte Bardot.
This is what I wore to the show
Coat- H&M trend section £54.99
Tee- Peter Pilotto for Topshop £34.99
Spike necklace- Vintage from Brick Lane
Leather trousers- Topshop £39.99
Heels- Urban Outfitters £79.99
